Experienced Firefighter Joins Toyne Sales Team
Toyne, a leader in the fire apparatus manufacturing industry, is expanding its Iowa sales team with the addition of Jeff Kromrie. Kromrie, a veteran firefighter and salesperson from Bondurant, Iowa, will primarily cover eastern Iowa, representing Toyne to current and future customers across the region.
Kromrie comes to Toyne with a wealth of experience in the industry, having been involved in sales since 1982, and specifically fire, EMS, law enforcement and specialty response vehicle sales for the last 18 years. He is no stranger to firefighting either, serving as a volunteer member of the Bondurant Fire Department for the past 20 years.
"We are excited to have Jeff bring his experience and passion to our sales team," said Michael Schwabe, president and CEO of Toyne, Inc. "He understands the industry inside and out, and will help us to serve and assist our customers in eastern Iowa at an even higher level."
Having lived in Bondurant for over 28 years with his wife Gail, Kromrie also knows Iowa well. He has long worked with Toyne apparatus, and said he is proud to be a part of the team.
"I have always thought highly of their product and enjoyed working with them in the past," said Kromrie. "Toyne offers a great product that's built to take the call, and they are built right here in the wonderful state of Iowa — that means a lot for sales and service."
On Toyne's Iowa sales team, Jeff Kromrie will be joining Dale Derner (Midwest regional sales manager) and Terry Thygesen (western Iowa apparatus sales). To learn more about Toyne's fire trucks and their commitment to quality, visit www.toyne.com.
