About The Seymour Fire Department
In the Iowa town of Seymour, the Seymour Fire Department (SFD) will soon be receiving delivery of their first fully customized Toyne Apparatus in nearly 30 years. This new pumper tanker will be replacing an older Toyne Pumper that has been in service with the department since 1990. The SFD’s Toyne Pumper Tanker will become their first out-vehicle for all structure fires and rescue calls in the communities they serve.

- SFD’s pumper tanker was built with a bolted stainless steel body and mounted on a Freightliner M2 106 6x4 chassis
- This Toyne is equipped with a 3,000-gallon UPF tank, a 3,000-gallon Syntex portable tank, a 2,100-gallon Syntex portable tank, and rear slide-in porta-tank storage
- The pumper tanker has a 1,250-gallon-per-minute Waterous CSPA PTO pump, an on-board Foam Pro 1600 Class-A foam system, and an on-board Akron Hi-Riser monitor.
