About Newman Grove Rural Fire District (NGRFD)
Since its inception as a ‘bucket brigade’ in the 1880s, the Newman Grove Rural Fire District (NGRFD) in Madison County, Nebraska, has provided protection and peace of mind for its residents, local area farmers, and visitors. The 31-member volunteer department tasked Toyne, an apparatus manufacturer based out of Breda, Iowa, with building a customized pumper and tanker/tender to expand its fleet.
