Breda, Iowa - Since the company's inception in 1942, Toyne, Inc. has been dedicated to building high quality apparatus for firefighters who are dedicated to serving communities across the nation. With nine active firefighters as well as a number of retired firefighters with decades of firefighting experience on staff, Toyne also brings a wealth of firsthand experience and passion to their work.
On April 18th, the Iowa-based fire apparatus manufacturer received a visit from former firefighter Armand Young. Young has passionately dedicated his life to walking across the United States in honor of fallen firefighters and victims from 9/11 with a goal of generating one million acts of kindness. After being invited by Toyne to tour their facilities and see their stall built production process, Young spent the day swapping firefighting stories with Toyne employees who also signed his group of American flags which currently include over 570,000 signatures.
