Breda, Iowa - Toyne dealers and employees gathered today to celebrate the past year's accomplishments of their colleagues with an awards ceremony held during Toyne's annual dealer summit.

Dale Derner, Toyne Midwest Regional Sales Manager, was recognized as the 2013 Salesman of the Year. The Most Improved Dealership Award, recognizing the Toyne dealer with the highest increase in sales over the previous year, was awarded to Tri-State Fire of Monogahela, Penn. Meanwhile, the Million Dollar Club recognizes individuals whose Toyne fire apparatus sales reached seven figures in the past year and that honor went to Dick Shakerley of VRS Sales. Shakerley's other emergency vehicle venture, Shakerley Fire Truck Sales in Round Lake, New York, was presented with an engraved axe bearing his dealership's name, marking their location as the recipient of the Toyne 2013 Dealer of the Year Award.

In addition to being part of this year's awards ceremony, Toyne dealers were among the first to view the company's new branding and integrated marketing campaign designed to inspire and evolve the entire organization. Participants were greeted with a presentation from President & CEO Mike Schwabe and National Sales Manager Mike Watts, introducing them to Toyne's new logo and corporate positioning statement, "Built to take the call." The company also debuted their updated literature as well as the newly designed Toyne website. All of the enhanced elements are designed to emphasize Toyne's commitment to quality and unique customization capabilities.

"There's no doubt that our dealers are an integral part of the Toyne team," said President & CEO Mike Schwabe. "We are pleased to be able to honor the extraordinary efforts of select individuals while coming together as a unit to recognize the exciting future that lies ahead of everyone involved with the Toyne organization."
