Toyne Returns to FDIC; Two Large Capacity Pumper Tankers/Tenders Featured
Indianapolis, IN (April 4, 2024) – The FDIC International event is returning to Indianapolis, IN again. Noted as one of the world’s largest firefighting and rescue events, FDIC will be home to more than 34,000 fire industry professionals, April 15-20, 2024. Currently, over 800 exhibitors will converge at the conference, which is held at the Indiana Convention Center & Lucas Oil Stadium.
Industry-leading fire apparatus manufacturer Toyne, Inc., from Breda, IA, will be one of the manufacturers exhibiting at the 2024 event. The company will be showcasing two brand-new, customized pumper tankers/tenders, which belong to the Lynn Scott Rock Fire Protection District (LSR) and the Tompkins Corners Volunteer Fire Company (TCVFC).
The Lynn Scott Rock FPD is based in Lindenwood, IL and purchased its new Toyne Tailored Apparatus from Dinges Fire Company. LSR’s Toyne Pumper Tanker/Tender features a bolted-painted stainless steel body mounted on a Spartan Metro Star MFD chassis with a 10" raised roof. Additional equipment includes

Located in Horseheads, NY, the Tompkins Corners VFC purchased their new Toyne fire apparatus through J.P.B Fire Sales & Services. TCVFC’s pumper tanker/tender was also built with a bolted-painted stainless steel body and was mounted on a Freightliner 114SD 4-door chassis. Additional features include
