Sublette Fire Protection District Adds Second Toyne to Fleet

Sublette, IL (May 1, 2025) - The Sublette Fire Protection District (SFPD) in Illinois has expanded its fleet with the addition of a new Toyne Pumper Tanker/Tender, marking the department's second delivery from Toyne, Inc. This custom-built apparatus is a powerful addition to their emergency response capabilities, enhancing service to the Village of Sublette and surrounding areas in Lee County.

Built at Toyne's headquarters in Breda, Iowa, the new apparatus was mounted on an International HV607 2-door chassis. It's powered by a Cummins ISL 360 HP engine and an Allison 3000 EVS transmission. Toyne's bolted, painted stainless steel body is engineered for longevity and rugged performance in demanding conditions.

Staffed by a dedicated team of around 40 firefighters, SFPD is committed to protecting life and property throughout its service area. Their fleet includes engines, tenders, brush trucks, and an ambulance, equipping them to handle a wide range of emergencies.
